Adhere to aerobic exercise to help improve sleep
For people with poor sleep, it is better to exercise every night than to count the sheep.
A new study in the United States shows that adherence to aerobic exercise can help improve sleep and improve sleep quality.
銆€銆€Researchers at Northwestern University recently reported that they conducted a follow-up study of 23 people over 55 years of age who had poor sleep.
Previous studies have shown that middle-aged and older women are the main group of people suffering from insomnia, so the study is mostly female.
銆€銆€The researchers divided the subjects into expectations, letting each of them exercise 4 times a week for about 40 minutes, while the other group only regularly participated in cooking classes, listening to lectures, and not exercising.
The removal staff knows the same sleep precautions from the experts, such as going to bed at a fixed time every night, not sleeping, not lying on the bed.
銆€銆€The researchers found that after 16 weeks, the sleep condition of the exercise group was significantly improved, the symptoms such as depression were relieved, and the sleep condition remained the same.
銆€銆€Professor William Roberts, a sleep research expert, said that good sleep is an important part of a healthy life, improving sleep quality and improving both physical and mental health.
The treatment of insomnia by aerobic exercise can effectively avoid the side effects of drug treatment.
銆€銆€The researchers also reminded that it is best not to schedule an hour before going to bed for exercise. For those who alternate between free time, “training for one hour in the morning is more beneficial to the body than sleeping in bed for one hour.”
